This Privacy Policy explains what information Shiplore ("we", "us") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We've written it in plain language because privacy shouldn't require a law degree to understand.

1. Information we collect

We collect only what's needed to draft posts on your behalf:

Account data — your name, email, and authentication tokens for GitHub and X.
Repository signals — commit messages and diffs from the repos you connect, processed to summarize what you shipped.
Voice data — your past public posts and the edits you make, used to learn your writing style.
Usage data — basic analytics about how you use the product, to improve it.

2. How we handle your code

This is the part that matters most to developers, so we're specific and honest: we summarize your diffs in-flight to draft posts, we do not store your source code long-term, and we never use it to train machine-learning models. A short summary of what changed is retained to power the draft; the underlying code is discarded after processing. GitHub access is strictly read-only, and you can revoke it anytime.

3. How we use your information

To draft posts that reflect what you've built and how you write.
To schedule approved posts at optimal times for your audience.
To provide market and competitor context for your drafts.
To operate, secure, and improve the service.

We never sell your data. We never post anything without your explicit approval.

4. Sharing & third parties

We share data only with infrastructure providers necessary to run Shiplore (hosting, AI inference, payment processing), each bound by strict data-protection terms. We disclose information if required by law, and we'll notify you unless legally prohibited.

5. Your rights & controls

Export — download all your data anytime from Settings.
Delete — remove your account and all associated data; deletion is permanent and processed within 30 days.
Disconnect — revoke GitHub or X access instantly, which stops all processing.

6. Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access tokens are stored encrypted and scoped to the minimum permissions required. We follow industry-standard practices and review them regularly.
